Bodywork as unique as your dog

What is canine bodywork?

Canine bodywork encompasses a comprehensive evaluation of the dog’s body structure, movement patterns, conformation, muscle development, and range of motion. These are just a few assessment techniques employed. Following the assessment, tailored techniques are applied to each dog based on the findings. These techniques include massage, soft tissue immobilization, myofascial release, acupressure, osteopathy, laser therapy, and aromatherapy.

The benefits of bodywork include relaxation, improved muscle function, reduced recovery time, enhanced posture and range of motion, increased circulation with lymphatic drainage, decreased muscular tension, stiffness, and soreness, and myofascial release as a means of facilitating the healing of past trauma. Therapeutic laser therapy is incorporated into all sessions, demonstrating its effectiveness in reducing pain and inflammation while promoting cellular regeneration and healing.

All sessions are conducted in a positive, force-free approach, prioritizing the dog’s comfort. Owners receive a customized report detailing their dog’s condition and exercises tailored to their dog’s specific needs. Various achievable goals are attainable during bodywork sessions, and I am committed to discussing your dog’s unique requirements.
